There were several ways to indicate fall was upon you. Changing leaves, of course, would be the obvious one. You could look at a calendar, which was just a boring way to do it. Pretty much the best part of this week was that it was it was over.  Also that there had been teddy bear samurai/ninha fighting in History today  That was awesome.

Beyond that?  Total loss of a week, and Rose was watching it go out to the backdrop of a Project Runway marathon.

Andy felt in need of an evening of tv and munchies, surprisingly without an afternoon of smoking preceeding it. So he was sitting on the couch with a large array of candy and chips spread out around him, flipping through channels and looking for something that would hold his interest for more than few minutes.

Kara is bored. So very, very bored. She doesn't think she's ever been more bored in her life.

Can't go to the gym. Bad knee.

Can't bother Lee. He's not here.

Can't draw. Ran out of paper.

Bored, bored, bored.

Kara sighs and flips through the inane Saturday afternoon tv shows.
